Sites & Soundbytes turns 10 years old today! It started as a way to feature new links I found for my collection of links that I curated for years. That list began as a box of cards that had information about gopher and veronica sites. Yes, I’m that old. Thanks.
This blog has moved with me through three jobs. I left the collection of links behind at the first one, but kept the blog.
Thank you for everyone who reads my posts whether you see them on the blog, Facebook, Twitter or Google+. It’s been a pleasure to do this work for so many years and I hope you continue to find it valuable into the future. Because I can’t stop now!

Good day! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an established blog.
Is it very hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I’m thinking about making my own but I’m not sure where to start. Do you have any tips or suggestions? Thanks
I’d recommend looking at Blogger or WordPress as free options for starting your blog. Both are easy to get started on and then can be customized as you work on them more.
